For the past 50 years or so, fans of the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League have maintained a tradition of throwing an octopus onto the ice during the team's playoff games. Recently, a man who says "I have never liked sports in my life" saw the octopus business on TV and was outraged. So he filed a lawsuit, on behalf of all octopi "in the oceans of the world". More about this here and here.
Mr. Knaster,
You may remember that on Friday you and I went to see The Happening together and I (for the first time in my life) walked out of the movie.
I've decided to do something about it. I've created:
TheNotHappening.com
A site dedicated to trying to get as many people as possible to walk out of The Happening. I'd appreciate it if you joined my cause.
Thanks,
LK
