Current obsessions

Something has happened recently to give me lots of mental energy (maybe it's the fact that we've passed through the darkest time of year and the days are getting longer) and so I'm wasting that energy on several frivolous but entertaining obsessions: Brian Wilson, John Hodgman, and Windows on Intel Macs. I'm sure to be blogging about these soon (once blogging returns to my list of frivolous obsessions).

random trivia that you may already know: Hodgman admins a Flickr group for Hobo sightings, that he occasionally threads into his blog postings at good evening.

random trivia that you probably don't care about: I posted illegally to the group back in October and he graciously posted on my post. (which seems very post-post-modern, for some odd reason.) he even circled back and posted a comment on my flickr thread.

I lived on the glow for several days.

make that weeks.

actually, I'm still living on it.

which is probably painfully clear from this comment.
