The SF Chronicle has this notion on Apple's new mouse: it's part of Apple's bid to lure Windows users. It's an odd article, with logical leaps over vast canyons, but it shows you where the mainstream perception of Apple stands nowadays.
my favorite part of the article is when it lists Apple's windows-compatible products and it says ..."and Airport Express, a base station for wireless networking, said Ross Rubin, an analyst at the research firm NPD Group." - like it takes a freaking analyst at a research firm to find out what the Airport Express does.

I stumbled across your blog while I was doing some online research. Not too long ago Apple was a sort of suspicious company whose users were sort of suspect in a vague way. Look at how far they've come!
