This article has an update on Steve Vaught, the man who is walking from San Diego to New York.
Due to the heat of the day, Steve walks from 6:30 to 10 a.m., takes most of the day off, resumes walking at 7:30 p.m. and goes until he feels like stopping. His original plan was to walk 20 to 25 miles a day, but some injuries took him down to three miles a day for a few weeks. Now he averages about 15 miles a day.
HI STEVE I KNOW GOD IS BLESSING YOU YOU HAVE A MESSAGE FOR ALL OF US KEEP ON WALKING

Congratulations Steve. So many just talk the talk, you walk the walk. It's hard at first but your body will get used to the idea and it will get easier, We know this from ultra distance running. From NewZealand we salute you for "having the guts" to do something for your self. Walk your own walk Steve and "Never give up!"--Nick

Steve, I am inspired by you, my daily walks bring you to my mind. I walk in my z coil shoes every morning and i think of you and the impact put on your body. Be good to yourself and take as much pressuree off yourself as possible. I kheard you are walking in a partcular brand of shoe. This is not aout the brand of shoe, it is about you, give yourself a break, try more than 1 type of shoe. I believe u will not be sorry. In any case, may God keep you inspired and safe. Darlene
