    Their total cholesterol was 110 mg/dl; their LDL cholesterol was 50 mg/dl. They were tall and lean.

I call BS. How does this Cardiologist know the Cholesterol of an Ancient Man? Also, everything I've heard is that we are taller now than we've ever been in the past.

Don't get me wrong, I think this hypothetical 'Ancient Man' lived a lot healthier, in many ways, than we do now, but this romanticism of the noble savage shouldn't be mistaken for science.

But, is this news? Isn't this just a rehash of The Caveman Diet?
