the lc's lost the most with less calories than the low-fatters. Plus the year-study was not proper atkins but almost "induction"-level carbs for the entire year (atkins limits this to at most six months, with just 2 weeks strongly recommended).

I think going ketogenic for more than 6 months is doctrinaire, but lc per se is a far superior way of eating instead of traditional low fat.

Even high-fat lc like bacon-cheese omlettes.

We are *not* what we eat, and I had a 20lb gut from a nasty Mt Dew habit to prove it.
