Hi gang,
Welcome to the signup page for the third annual pre-WWDC pilgrimage to the Apple Company Store in Cupertino. This year you can reserve your bus seat and lunch at BJs (if you want it)* on this one form. Woohoo, technology!

And now: the inevitable FAQ
What is the pilgrimage to the Apple Company Store?
On Sunday, June 10th, the day before WWDC starts, Apple opens the Company Store from 12:00 to 5:30 PM. Unfortunately, it's not that easy to get there from San Francisco (48 miles away) or SFO airport (31 miles away).
So to help with transportation, and to collect everybody together for a group experience, we have arranged for buses to take folks to Cupertino. The cost per person is $18 round trip. (According to Google Maps, public transporation takes about 2 hours each way, costs about $20, and requires at least 4 transfers. So this seems better.)
What are the bus schedules?
There are early and late bus runs:
2:00 leave Cupertino, back to Moscone South
5:30 leave Cupertino, back to Moscone South
Where do the buses go?
You can board the bus either at Moscone South or SFO airport. The buses will follow this route:
Moscone South --> SFO airport --> Apple --> Moscone South
Where is Moscone South? Isn't that where WWDC is?
Note that Moscone South is not the WWDC building; they are diagonally opposite and 1/2 block apart. (Click map pins to see which is which.)

SFO airport is more convenient for me. Where do I catch the bus at SFO?
At the airport, the bus will stop at both Bus Courtyard 1 and Bus Courtyard 4 (marked by the red circles in the following map).
Please allow enough time to get to the bus. If you're landing at SFO, allow an hour from your scheduled landing time to get off the plane, collect your luggage, navigate SFO, and get to the bus. Allow more time for international arrivals.
Can we do anything else at Apple besides visit the Company Store?
Nope. Friendly Apple security guards will be on hand to remind us of this fact. In particular, please stay by the Company Store and away from any other windows and doors.
Do you need a WWDC badge to get into the Company Store?
Apple's WWDC site says you must be a WWDC attendee to get into the Company Store on this day (Sun. June 10th) but doesn't specifically say you need a badge has recently been updated to remove the previous "WWDC attendees only" statement and replace that statement with "Special hours for WWDC", so it's apparently open to everyone.
Where can I get some info about the Apple Company Store?
Have you tried the convenient Internet? http://www.apple.com/companystore/
What's all this about lunch at the Pilgrimage?
When we get to Cupertino, you might be hungry and/or thirsty. The only restaurant that's really close and open on Sunday is the legendary BJs Brewhouse, right there in Apple's parking lot.
Then let's all go eat there!
That would pretty much overwhelm them. And since we have limited time in Cupertino, we wouldn't all get in, and we'd be quite rushed.
OK, got a better idea?
Yes. We have arranged with BJs to set up a private buffet just for us. This solves the problem of overwhelming them with too many of us. And, because we're having people prepay and it's a buffet, you won't have to wait to order, for food, or to pay your check, so it's optimized for time.
What's on the menu?
We get salad, pasta, 4 different kinds of pizza, and soda. It's all you can eat. The price is $20 per person, which includes food, soda, tax, and gratuity/service charge.
It's a brewpub. What about beer?
You can order beer on your own at the bar. There's no all-you-can-drink option for beer, although that would be interesting.
*Why is the buffet only available for the early bus goers?
The late bus schedule is more compressed and there's not enough time to do the buffet.
We'll send you an email with all the details closer to WWDC time.
Please let us know if
- You want to go but the bus fare is a hardship for you.
- You can't use PayPal for any reason.
- You paid and now you need to change something.
- You own a helicopter and you want to lend it to us for transportation.
- You have any other questions – just ask!
See you there!
Now competition is quite tough between some smart phone platforms. So Apple is quite busy to still hold the strong position in a market and they are launching latest features and functions on their smart phone to get the more audience attention.Well it's quite amazing information it will be more attractive for iPhone lovers.
